Track Of The Week: May 23-29
  • This week’s track comes from Laws, a Brazilian-born lyricist currently signed to Warner Bros.  Laws is in a lane unique to the latter part of this decade.  His vocal sound paired with electronic-styled production creates a musical environment that bears semblance  to Tim Burton’s expert use of color in his interpretation of Alice In Wonderland or James Cameron’s use of processing techniques in Avatar.  Laws consistently crafts visually rich tracks with both introspective and mentally engaging content.  Just listening to this tape has me using big words… But seriously guys, His first mixtape with Justice L.E.A.G.U.E., Your Future Favorite Rapper, is STILL in rotation in my iTunes library.  Enough of me yackin’ on about this guy, take a listen to “Colors” and download the mixtape.  Because I told you to and I have great taste in music. Now.
