Sc State Vs. NSU
MEAC leader #17 South Carolina State (4-1, 2-0 MEAC) came to Norfolk yesterday and dropped a hammer on the Spartans, putting up 37 easy points in a Bulldog victory. NSU dug themselves into a hole early, and instead of climbing their way out, SC State picked up the shovel and started filling in the dirt. It could have been uglier, but the coaches ” called off the dogs” in the second half, playing ball control offense and milking the clock with the run game behind RB Will Ford (75 yards on 14 tough carries).
