Sunday was a very long and tedious day for me. It was spent entirely on shooting, filming, and editing, while dealing with multiple personalities and unforeseen problems. If i’ve learned anything this past weekend, it’s to trust your partners, but trust your gut just as much! When dealing with business in this photography thing, we’ve got to take charge and set rules and guidelines for not just ourselves, but our subjects as well.
My makeup artist took that life lesson from the shoot also. It was GREAT to get her some work done, and to brush up on my lighting skills. She’s already hit us up with ideas for the next portfolio building shoot for her, and has a working knowledge of the behind the scenes stuff.. Looking forward to her growing even more!
